Please contact your tour operator for information regarding riding possibilities on Grand Turk, which is the cruise ship destination for the Turks and Caicos.

Reservations are required. Our rides are very popular so we recommend booking well in advance. We look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions please review the information provided in our website.

FOR RESERVATIONS PLEASE COMPLETE THE RESERVATION FORM BELOW

PLEASE REVIEW HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR RIDING ABILITY BEFORE COMPLETING THE RESERVATION FORM
Beginner: A rider who has limited experience, is unable to post the trot and does not canter.
Novice: A rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots, and short canters. A Novice rider has ridden AT LEAST 10 times.
Intermediate: A rider who has a firm, balanced seat in both english and western saddles, is confident and in control at all paces in open country (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly. An intermediate rider has ridden AT LEAST 25 times.
Strong Intermediate: An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours per day.
Advanced: All of the above, plus an independent seat, soft hands, and capable of handling a spirited horse in open country.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE PREFER NOT TO ALLOW OUR MORE EXPERIENCED GUESTS TO CANTER ON THE BEACH DURING AN EXTREMLY HIGH TIDE. WHEN THE TIDE IS TOO HIGH, THE SAND ON THE WATERS EDGE IS TOO DEEP, THE FOOTING IS NOT SECURE AND THE RISK OF TENDON OR LIGAMENT INJURY FOR THE HORSES IS TOO HIGH. PLEASE REFER TO THIS LINK FOR TIDE TABLES FOR THE TURKS AND CAICOS AREA FOR 2010. FOR BEGINNER OR NOVICE RIDERS THE TIDE WILL NOT MAKE ANY REAL DIFFERENCE.

THIS TIDE TABLE MAY HELP A MORE EXPERIENCED RIDER DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT THEY WOULD LIKE A MORNING OR AFTERNOON RIDE ON THEIR PREFERRED RIDE DATE. HOWEVER, DURING A HIGH TIDE, THE WATER LEVEL CLOSE TO THE BEACH IS HIGHER, AND FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO, TAKING YOUR HORSE CHEST DEEP OR DEEPER INTO THE OCEAN IS ALWAYS FUN! WE DO OUR BEST TO ENSURE A GREAT RIDE FOR ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WHETHER IT'S HIGH TIDE OR LOW TIDE!
